Another funny to add to my wedding photography series. You could say this one is a stolen photo, taking a picture of someone taking a picture. Holding back and observing the scene unfold, leads to perfect opportunities to capture interactions.
Provide your guests with some props and see what happens. Very easily they start playing up to each other and for the camera. Its a brilliant ice breaker helping guests unknown to one another to start interacting and getting in the party spirit.
What a good way of bringing some humour into the day with everyone contributing material to the wedding photography archive!
This moment was something I had been watching develop and I chose my moment to ‘steal’ my photo. Keeping it wide I gave the image its environmental context, but the faces / characters framed within the frame are priceless. One happy and beaming and the other not so comfortable, shall we say. It works for me….
