We look for the uniqueness within every day
We anticipate, recognise, attune and respond, to all of the subtle and not so obvious wedding day energies. It’s what keeps us alive creatively, pushing forward within our work as creative Dorset Wedding Photographers & Film makers.
We are a small professional team who work exclusively within the wedding photography market. Through immersing ourselves within wedding photography, we strive to elevate our work consistently evolving artistically.
Working with depth and soul, every wedding day is a potential portfolio award winning opportunity. Our aim is for every client to be our biggest champion.
Subtle, Emotive & Raw Wedding Photography – Capturing The Soul Of Your Wedding.
Our tag line came from a comment from a fellow high level wedding professional. They somehow summed up our style within these three adjectives ‘Subtle, Emotive & Raw’! We embrace all levels of emotion, whether it be tender, silly, absurd or brash – but we all look for the underlying subtleties that occur. A gentle reassuring hand placed just when needed, during a speech or when about to walk down the aisle. These qualities and virtues lead to our imagery, transporting you back to that emotive time & place!
Whether you are looking for Wedding Photography, Videography or both, we have got you covered
We are a team of professional photographers and videographers who can easily capture all your wedding day memories, from the small and intimate elopements & ceremonies, to the grand scale country house banquets. We can even capture cinematic drone footage showing off the grandeur of your venue with our in house CAA licensed UAV pilots.
Our Style
Documentdding Photography
Often referred to as Documentary wedding photography, reportage wedding photography or wedding photojournalism, the subtle differences do not need elaborating here. More important is to exploit their combined virtues of being natural, observational story telling.
Documenting a wedding through a strong observational approach is the only real way of telling the story of your wedding day, the way you planned it, the way you visualised it and the way it really was. Any other way would simply the photographers interpretation of what they thought your day should be.
Documentary wedding photographers approach a wedding with the intent of capturing the connection, the energy and the passion of the day. Through experience comes intuition, being able to see and anticipate moments as photographic opportunities to create images of timeless beauty.
Natural storytelling is something we have always done as a professional photographers. Years of working on Fleet Street titles honed our skills producing both features, – a process of telling a story through a series of photographs to single, stand alone images. Each image capable of telling the story, providing context and clearly projecting the story behind the moment.
These real, unscripted moments can be carefully woven in between the small number of ‘portraits’ we capture at selective moments throughout your day.
