Their Anglo-Filipino ceremony included a candle ritual, and space was tight… so I ended up pressed against a mirror, working the angles while keeping every guest’s view untouched.
That’s the dance with documentary work — staying close enough to feel the moment, but never becoming part of it.
This frame found its shape in the reflection: the candlelight, the emotion, the faces watching on.

Eliza & Ed on Gold Hill — that steep little slice of Dorset history that once fronted a 1970s Hovis advert and still feels like it was built for moments like this.
This frame picked up a Gold Award in the latest #WPJA competition — all four judges placed it top from the worldwide submissions. A lovely nod to real, unscripted storytelling… and honestly, to the energy these two brought to their day.
Their wedding had everything: bridal prep in a yurt field, a full “Dirty Dancing” routine with a troupe of friends, and quiet moments at @sorelle_dorset that balanced it all out.
