EXCELLENT Based on 73 reviews Posted on Leo McDowall-BentonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Smiling Tiger Studios were extremely accommodating and flexible, taking a last minute booking for our wedding. We felt he took the time to completely understand our requirements and delivered amazing photographs, with a personal touch, which we are delighted with. Fully recommend for a professional service, and an artistic feel to the shots. Thank you so much Linus!Posted on Eliza WadeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Linus photographed out August 2025 wedding in Shaftesbury and we couldn't be happier with choosing to book him! Linus replied to our initial enquiry really quickly and we were reassured in our first meeting that he was highly reliable and professional. In addition there was real clarity over pricing through his website as well as a wide range of previous work to look at, which made us confident in our choice. On the day Linus captured so many beautiful and fun moments, featuring all our lovely guests and our pet dog ring bearer! His catch up with us before the day and calm presence on the day helped the whole thing feel really relaxed. We also had the whole set of photos back less than 3 weeks after the wedding which was much quicker than we expecting for such a large, high quality set of photos. All our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the photos are and we are so happy to have such beautiful captured moments to look back on.Posted on Tian YeongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you!Posted on Jason PassmoreTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Linus photographed our wedding and did a great job! He was great to work with, everyone really liked him and the photos came out amazingly. Would definitely recommendPosted on Bryce AllenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked Linus for a half day of photography for our May 2025 wedding and could not be happier with the results! On top of being kind and easy to get on with, Linus' stunning photos far exceeded our expectations. Linus was happy to go along with our laid back approach and was often a fly on the wall finding moments both big and small that encapsulated our day. When taking more formal photos of the two of us, Linus didn't rush from location to location and made the most of every possible shot. This relaxed approach let us both feel very relaxed and at ease throughout, breaking through any stiffness or apprehension we had before the shoot. When the final photos came in just over a week after our wedding (what a turnaround!), we were wowed by the collection he sent. In particular, we loved the splash of black-and-white photos that helped our album stand out. Thank you again, Linus! We can't recommend your work highly enough!Posted on Charlotte MadenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Linus is almost certainly a master at his craft. We could not have been happier with the photographs for our engagement shoot. Not only were the photographs better than we could have ever dreamed of, the experience itself was relaxed and enjoyable. Linus went above and beyond to to accommodate our location and timing requests. No ask was too much. We had a fabulous experience and would recommend a photography shoot with Linus to anyone.Posted on Callum DawTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. With very loose plans Linus was happy to travel to London and see where the day would take us. From the very first photo we were already comfortable, the whole day was incredibly easy and the focus was on us as a couple enjoying the day rather than being toured around to take photos. Linus was great at giving suggestions for ways to pose to give us a great variety of shots, and we had a really open chat throughout the day about what sorts of things we did and didn't like, which Linus took onboard to deliver photos that we are extremely pleased with!Posted on Laura BrooksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked Smiling Tiger Studios for our wedding day and have recently received our still photos back for review - and all we can say is WOW. Will has captured all of the precious moments and we totally feel like we’ve relived the day. From the little personal moments in the morning to the big events such as our speeches and ceremony, the photos are all so natural and bring everyone's emotions and characters. We could not be more chuffed with the collection of photos we have and will forever look back on them as a fantastic reminder of what was an amazing day. Will was also super personable and friendly, and just the perfect personality to be around us and our guests all day snapping shots. Thank you so much!!Posted on ElizabethTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Linus captured our wedding day in a way which we will forever be grateful for. We were first drawn to his work due to his ability to capture natural moments and work with the flow of the day (rather than seeking out poses). This relaxed yet sensitive approach shone through on the day itself, with Linus and his colleague Will being a pleasure to have with us and instantly putting us at ease. We opted for the photography and videography package (which was very competitively priced) and we are so glad that we did as together they offer a lasting encapsulation of the whole day. From our first chat through to receiving the full bundle, Linus went above and beyond in his helpfulness, attentiveness, personal touches, and a genuine desire to produce beautiful and professional content that we love. If you are looking for an emotive and authentic capture of your event and loved ones, we’d highly recommend Linus’ work.

Why Choose Me
“Emotional context has always been at the heart of my work”
The name Smiling Tiger isn’t about force — it’s about awareness.
It reflects a quiet confidence. The ability to read a room, sense what’s about to unfold, and respond instinctively without ever interrupting the moment.
I don’t orchestrate emotion — I observe it.
I move gently within the day, anticipating the glance between parents, the squeeze of a hand, the burst of laughter during speeches.
It’s about timing. Position. Sensitivity.
So when you look back at your photographs and film, you won’t just see what happened —
you’ll notice the moments you didn’t even realise were there.
Captured honestly. Preserved naturally.
Exactly as it felt.

Brock & Sophie at The Tudor Barn, Burnham - midweek, smaller guest list, and the whole day flowing beautifully.
The standout? Sophie’s dad arriving in a pillar-box red classic American convertible and delivering her in absolute style. They’d already done the legal bit earlier, so a friend-led ceremony made everything feel personal, warm and completely them.
A proper celebration, done with calm confidence.

James & Carly at Knoll House, Studland - the most chilled coastal wedding day, with one unexpected moment right at the start.
A helicopter landed near the ceremony field… not a guest, just someone needing the bathroom - and the downdraft sent decor flying across the grass. Everyone laughed, rallied, and the day rolled on perfectly.
Friend-led ceremony, drinks on the lawns, speeches with a proper roast, then James & Carly handing out guest awards (some only the inner circle will ever understand). Short portrait session in the field, then leaving them with plenty in the tank for their big Las Vegas wedding a few weeks later.

Angel & Stephanie flew in from Texas with one mission - pull off the most romantic surprise proposal in the UK.
Stourhead was the dream location. Period drama perfection. Pride & Prejudice energy. And Stephanie, a full-on fan, had no idea what was coming.
Angel planned this properly - he reached out well ahead of the trip so we could hatch the whole thing: Temple of Apollo, exact spot, angles, where I’d be waiting, how we’d make it feel effortless.
Then reality tried to spoil it. Public transport to Stourhead is basically planes, trains and automobiles - and they arrived over an hour late. But somehow… that made it even sweeter. The anticipation. The nerves. The pressure.
And then Angel did it. Perfectly. Completely under the radar. Stephanie’s reaction said everything - and yes… she said YES.
Afterwards we wandered the lake for portraits and a few little video clips to lock the feeling in forever.
If you’re planning a UK proposal (and you want it captured quietly, beautifully, without ruining the surprise) drop us a message and tell us what you’re dreaming up.

Gemma & Nick - a proper Weymouth beach wedding on a scorching summer day.
Confetti storm outside St John’s Church with sunglasses on, a promenade walk to the Pavilion, then harbour portraits using the rowing boat taxi to get close to the lifeboats (Nick’s world) and a jetty that mattered to them both.
Then they handed guests tokens for the amusement rides beside the beach. Chaos, laughter, and the most perfect seaside energy.

Tian & Julius - a micro wedding at Winchester Registry Office on a scorching summer day, with their Golden Retriever right at the heart of it all.
They got the full classic Cadillac experience (two separate trips, properly enjoyed), kept the ceremony intimate with mostly close friends, then we grabbed confetti, a few fast portraits and headed for a quick detour to The Gurkha Museum for those bold architectural backdrops.
Small wedding. Big feeling. Exactly our kind of day.

Valentine’s Day weddings hit different - and Rhiannon & Andy’s was pure joy from the first minute.
They tied the knot at North Cadbury Court with their mountain dog Rafiki right in the mix, and the ceremony exit was everything - big smiles, a proper thumbs-up to their people, then walking back down the aisle together like, “Yep. We did that.”
But the moment that stole the whole room? The surprise Irish dance.
After the first ceilidh set, Rhiannon disappeared for a quick change… then re-entered to The Corrs - Toss the Feathers. The room was stunned. Then her sister Ciara joined her on the floor and the two of them absolutely owned it. Nobody saw it coming. Everyone felt it.
And right afterwards - the payoff. Their dad, in tears, grabbing his girls in a hug so raw the whole room went quiet for a second. That’s the stuff. That’s the memory.
Congrats Rhiannon & Andy - enjoy that honeymoon. Thanks for an epic wedding. You’re both stars.
