Observed, not staged. Felt, not forced.
That’s how your story deserves to be told.
No posing, no scripts – just real moments as they unfold.

Why Choose Me
“Emotional context has always been at the heart of my work”
The concept of the Smiling Tiger is a nod to my ability to use experience and instinct to oversee my environment. I let nature unfold, knowing the right moment to strike and capture my prey with pinpoint accuracy.
I’m always anticipating moments, whether it’s an emotional glance between family members, a squeeze of the hand, or something hilarious going on during the speeches – I’m judging the right angle and timing for the documentary wedding photography shot, to capture that moment forever. When you look back on your wedding photographs and film, you’ll see things you didn’t even realise were happening on the day, documented in timeless style.

Archie & Reece - a home grown wedding at Archie’s family home in Dorset, on one of those proper summer scorchers.
They walked down the aisle together with their dog Thor (also the ring bearer, and yes, he ran perfectly straight). Speeches in the garden amphitheatre, portraits among ponds and hidden garden corners, and a dancefloor that ended with something we genuinely didn’t see coming… Archie doing the worm.
Heartwarming, funny as hell, and completely them.

Rosie & James at North Cadbury Court - one hell of a ride from start to finish.
Private notes and gifts before church. A jubilant walk back down the aisle. Confetti chaos. Then a tin-can golf buggy getaway with Rosie driving James back to the house.
Bubbly, canapes and lawn games in the sun, warming speeches (with Zoom calls to best men on the other side of the world), and then one of the wildest dancefloors we’ve seen - both of them carried high above heads more than once.
If you’re planning North Cadbury Court and want documentary photo and film that keeps things real, drop us your date.

Laura & Ashley at Sopley Mill - and it’s basically their first anniversary right about now, so this feels like the perfect one to share.
Crisp spring sunshine, a ceremony that was personal and full of those unplanned, real moments, and emotion that hit again and again throughout the day. One of those aisle walks where you can literally see feelings rising in both Laura and her dad, then laughter five minutes later like nothing else matters.
We covered photo and highlight film, and we hadn’t even left before they put a thank you card in our hands. Beautiful people.

Issy & Chris planned an outdoor wedding at Gorwell Barn - and instead of rain or sunshine, the whole valley filled with fog.
It stayed all day, turning everything cinematic: guests appearing through the mist, a ceremony that felt almost dreamlike, and portraits with that soft, ethereal backdrop you couldn’t recreate if you tried.
Add in Wii battles (Guitar Hero included) and The Leggomen bringing the party, and you’ve got a Dorset wedding we’ll never forget.

Donkey ring bearers. Four seasons in one ceremony. A wheelbarrow guest book that ended up carrying the bride around the dancefloor.
Richard & Laura’s Warmwell House wedding was joyful chaos in the very best way - plans shifting, guests laughing, kids riding Weymouth beach donkeys around the grounds, and golden hour landing right on cue.
If you’re planning Warmwell House and want your day documented naturally - no performance, no forced moments - drop us a message with your date.

Callum & Stephannie at Manor by the Lake was the perfect match - a venue that gives you beautiful backdrops without dragging you away from your guests, and a couple who cared more about people than posing.
Filipino traditions in the ceremony (veil, cord, unity candle), friends crying so hard it marked a dress, and Stephannie’s front row family absolutely losing it with laughter. A day full of heart, humour, and proper connection.
If you’re planning a Manor by the Lake wedding and want it documented quietly and honestly, send us your date.
