Charlotte & Marc asked me to photograph their wedding last Autumn. They were looking for a Dorset Wedding Photographer that would deliver some spectacular documentary photography, whilst following their fun filled and yet relaxed wedding day.
Well the obviously found the right man for the job, but before the day came, I really did not understand how relaxed and wonderful the day was going to be.
Charlotte had kept me up to speed with developments as they came together and I was aware that a double decker bus had been hired to take the wedding party off for a little trip in between the ceremony and the reception. Both of which were held at the Hotel Prince Regent, Weymouth.
Well, it turned out that the trip was just a short one up to the Esplanade where the entire party was treated to an afternoon of crazy golf and amusement rides. It certainly provided me with countless photo opportunities before all heading back for the evening reception.
The day was gorgiously sunny and full of great memories for me. I can safely say that Charlotte was my first bare footed bride ! There I was trying to photograph the dress, the bouquet & the shoes …. what shoes ?….. No shoes!!!!! oh – Ok. But Marc really did excel himself in the dancing stakes, he certainly does deserve a pat on the back for taking up the challenge of of young guest for a dance off competition. I cant recall who won but the effort & commitment was commendable !!
I wish Charlotte & Marc all the best for the future, they really were great hosts and it was a great wedding. Once more a big thankyou for chosing me as your Dorset wedding photographer.
