Saturday’s morning shoot with Jo & Ian turned out to be one of the coldest shoots I have ever experienced. I take my hat off to them both for being such good sports and enduring the minus ‘something silly’ wind chill factor. Luckily we had all wrapped up warm and took a stroll down to the disused Portland Quarry.
Today the quarry is home to some resident stone masons that hone their skills on creating lovely sculptures. These along with the natural terrain and view over Portland were to provide our backdrop and a very contextual setting for the Pre wedding shoot. Jo & Ian will be getting married at Portland Castle in the middle of next year.
I hope the freezing temperature isn’t self evident in the photos ! Why when the previous days were so beautifully crisp with warm light and no wind, did things have to change into being Britain’s harshest cold snap in a decade, I dont know…….
