[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The National Wedding Awards is the leading event and body representing all wedding industry suppliers, from hair stylists, florists, car suppliers and of course photographers.
Earlier this week the regional awards were held, naming one winner in each area of excellence. The awards are unique in, with them not being given at the discretion of a panel or individual, you are judged by your body of work by your piers along with the most valuable of all things – what your clients have had to say.
The couples who took the time to share their experiences, expectations, service received, and finished products, along with voting for me, are all very dearly appreciated. It means so much to me to have your support and only now, that I have seen the words shared on the Wedding Industry Awards website, I am overwhelmed!
It would have been lovely to have won the Best Wedding Photographer in the South West, but on this occasion it went to another fine and deserving photographer. Having been shortlisted as a finalist, was a pleasure in itself, a just reward for the body of work produced this year and the hours of pleasure gained within my profession.
The wonderful people I have met, the joy I have been privileged to witness and the family archives I have been instrumental in producing.
Like every wedding and every year, I know I will continue to grow in my art form and this time next year, my work will have taken another leap forward, being finer tuned and polished even more. To each and every Bride & Groom who took the time to vote – a very big THANK YOU!
