I met up with Laura & Pete a few weeks ago for their engagement shoot, ahead of documenting their Wedding Photography Bridport later this year.
Our location had been carefully scouted out with the intention of capturing them amidst the beautiful rolling Dorset countryside surrounding their village.
The days proceeding had all looked favourable with crisp light and blue skies. But yep, you guessed it…..when the day came the weather was awful!
The day had decided to be something not dissimilar to what is known as ‘pea soup’ conditions. Visibility was low, so not a chance of any spectacular backgrounds today. Instead we took the back up option and went for a stroll around their village.
This was fine, less fuss and making good of a situation we couldn’t control. Even so, we got some lovely images and caught on on how their wedding plans were going. They have a super theme lined up and some great ideas. Looking forward to their big day now and you never know, we may even get a another chance of that epic landscape shot!
