This weekend I found myself capturing Sam & Alex’s Rock Festival themed wedding photography in Weymouth.
It was my first time working at a new venue – Lorton House, a real gem of a property being tucked away and commanding a beautiful view stretching down to the Weymouth coastline.
Sam & Alex’s wedding was a little different from most of my weddings that keep to the documentary style as they chose to do the legal ceremony in the morning without a my camera being present. Lorton House was for an open air blessing ceremony with a festival themed reception to follow.
With such a unique theme, the day required a few ‘alternative’ creative bridal portrait shots.
This is one from the session that took a bit of artistic direction from the wonderful decor within the house. More images from the day can be found on my Facebook page.
Congratulations Sam & Alex – it was a great day! I’m glad I was there to share it with you.
