Seems like some time ago now that I was asked to document Ethan’s Christening on Portland, in Dorset.
It was September and I had been approached by Ethan’s grandfather David, to join them at St John the Baptist Church to photograph the ceremony along with taking a few family group shots.
I had first met David at another wedding the year before, and like many people who have seen me work – he liked the gentle approach and style of photography. Β Proving once more that being seen at work, along with our actions are the best form of advertising!
Christenings are a natural progression on from weddings andΒ have their own feel about them. Β With many couples going on to have a family of their own – why not continue the photographic narrative on long past the wedding day?
