Wednesday morning saw me meet up with Laura & Pete for their engagement shoot. A lovely couple who’s May wedding, I’m very much looking forward to documenting as a Bridport Wedding Photographer.
It was originally planned that we were going to check out two locations for the pictures – one over looking the wonderful rolling Dorset countryside and the other option was a sceneic beach location. Both being great settings for engagement photo shoots, we had arranged to meet at a local pub just outside Bridport.
First thing that morning the weather was spot on, sun shine and glorious blue sky. But by the time I had reached our redezvous point everything had changed. The sun was no more, a midst had descended and it looked as if it was here for the day 🙁 there was no way we were going to get a landcape today, not unless the midst was going to be the main subject!
So a change in plan – we decided to stay closer to the couples home and shoot in and around their home village.
Here’s a taster shot from nearing the end of the shoot. A lovely frame taken near to a little brook at the bottom of the village – it serves to illustrate that even staying close to home still provides lovely photography.
