Champagne Kate – Best Weymouth Wedding Photography
Champagne Kate, well it just had to be! Champagne was an key part of the day and duely captured within my Best Weymouth Wedding photography!
Each place setting within the marquee was labelled with a carefully sourced champagne cork. You have to admire the time, thought and dedication that went into preparing for this wedding 😉
Just like the bubbles in the champagne, kate and Finn are a couple that exude a love of life, being full of fun, love….. and bubbles!
A local church wedding at St Lawrence Church in Upwey, Weymouth in mid July, followed by a marquee reception over looking Chesil beach.
The weather had been changeable, and it was questionable whether our day would be affected. So like many another situation, we decided to go for what we could, when we could.
After the church service we popped into the Wishing Well in Upwey, a stones throw away. Its a delightful tea room that has astounding botanical gardens – just perfect for a bridal photo opportunity.
With some lovely portraits in the bag, we headed off to the reception. Upon arrival and being served some champers and canapes, the heavens opened, off loading a torrential downpour.
But hey, looking on the brightside, the wedding was perfect, the portraits were in the bag and everyone had now burst into the marquee and were now there for the evening. It was party time!!
Following memorable wedding breakfast speaches that stirred emotions with both Bride and Groom along with guests, it was time for the dancing to get under way.
The first dance was full of fun, movement and boy did it get the guests going!
Both Kate & Finn are keen Nintendo Wii ‘Just Dance’ fanatics, who spend many an evening dancing around the front room ( no doubt this happened more often whilst busy collating their large collection of champagne corks!!)
A tradition first dance commenced and a few steps in, low and behold the DJ’s decks ground to a halt – only to break back into life with the sound of Harry Belafonte’s “jump in the line”. Choreographed and well practiced, it was a real treat to see and capture – the perfect culmination to the day.
Congratulations Kate & Finn and thanks for being so wonderful. Thanks for the education & sharp learning curve within the world of Christian Louboutin and glittery shoes! The pleasure was all mine in capturing all aspects of your day within my Best Weymouth Wedding Photography.
“The images perfectly captured all of our special day and they tell the story of a perfect wedding surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. They capture all the smiles, tears, laughter and the moments we were not there to see…..
I cannot recommend Linus highly enough. I would sing his praises from every rooftop in Dorset (and beyond) for giving us an incredible set of photographs that we utterly adore and will be treasured forever more.”
