Documentary Wedding Photography in Dorset
This scene was presented to me at a recent wedding of Becca & Scott. Its a good example of what I love in Good Documentary Wedding Photography in Dorset.
The composition takes the viewers eye on a journey.
You first see the lay preacher in the left corner of the frame, reading from the bible. A character in her own right, having a very compelling face, your eyes are then drawn to travel to the back of the church to the out of focus bride, groom and vicar.
The image has a depth and narrative within it. This style of image gives a sense of environmental context and as is often the case with documentray wedding photography, its an important image spotlighting other people central to the wedding ceremony, but all importantly still keeping the couple within the image.
