Last week I had a second opportunity to watch Ryan Keen performing at the UCCI 360 dome on Weymouth seafront. The 360 dome is the initiative of Plymouth University and has aspectacular 360 degree projection screen inside, which makes a great backdrop for any performing artist.
I regard myself as having been lucky in being introduced to this musician by one of next years Bride & Groom’s to be – Laura & Andy. On our wedding consultation meeting they told me that Andy had just won an award for his video animation that he made for a friend, as a favour. The friend was Ryan keen and as an unsigned artist he wouldn’t normally be able to get such a production, but as a mate and having some great people believe in him & his work, the video was made.
I will attach two Youtube video’s showing the award winning animation from Ryan’s song and then the video of Andy at work creating it – its fascinating.
I believe that Ryan will returning the favour with serenading Laura down the aisle next year when she marries Andy at Huntsham Court, Devon. Its going to be a special day, with some great people and some lovely details – I’m really looking forward to it!
