Becca & Scotts Blandford Forum Wedding
This was a lovely wedding in the heart of Dorset. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s in Sturminster Newton followed by a reception at The Crown Hotel, a popular venue for a Blandford Forum wedding.
Becca & Scott have two lovely children that I knew were going to provide some lovely photos and memories come the wedding day. They didn’t fail to oblige. Namely young Honey, who had sat impeccably still whilst the hair stylist arranged the style and carefully placed a decorative flower. Honey, upon finishing, lept all of 10 foot before pulling ther hair apart and removing said flower! Quite a little character in her own right π
Several details from this wedding stand out to me being great memories. First was the signing of the marriage registry, this documentary shot is one of my favourites to date.
Its pure documentary wedding photography with no direction what so ever. The light catches the couple and importantly illuminates Becca’s dress lovely whilst the vicar leans over directing where to sign.
Also the bridal party is standing in the background over looking the proceedings – so I suppose we have two for one here with a group shot at the same time!
Another unique detail from the day was the bridal bouquets. Becca had made them herself from family heirlooms, broaches and other pieces of costume jewellery.
They really were quite impressive as well as being quite a weight π

Some very nice images here Linus, liking the speeches and reactions! I like the wide angle shot of the signing of the register!
that looks like a really fun day. I adore little Honey as well – those photographs really do tell a thousand words with her getting ready! Beautiful couple and lovely work!
