It was great to capture Steve and Jan’s wedding celebrations last year as Portland Castle wedding Photographers.
Both Bride & Groom share a love for the Dorset coast, often spending time on and around Portland and Weymouth.
So it was no surprise for the historic Portland Castle to be a natural choice of wedding venue, once having been one of Henry VIII’s coastal fortifications.
Their day was beautifully personal to them with special touches including a brass band providing back ground music during the ceremony, to a surprise mode of transport upon exiting the castle grounds.
Unknown to Jan, Steve had arranged for a helicopter to land in the adjacent gardens that would wisk them away for an aerial tour of the Portland coastline. Â An experience that would stay with them along with their surprised guests for some time to come!
