A trip over to the Kent Coast
Last weekend, we captured Fiona & Charlie’s celebrations as their Holy Trinity Folkestone Wedding photographer.
The Kent coast isn’t our usual patch, but originating from Kent myself, it was a pleasure to venture over there with Will Bazlinton, second shooting and keeping the drivers Red Bull flowing!
This wedding was perfectly planned, bringing so many great elements together. The settings, from Bridal preparations at one hotel, walking distance to the church, then walking on another block or two to the Hotel reception at The Grand – it was an ideal set up.
The Church wedding at the Holy Trinity Folkestone, was Fiona’s family church, the Vicar had known the family for around 30 years, so yes you may as well include Kate as ‘family’ too. The choir were all friends of Fiona and a group that she regularly sings with. Tie in, after tie in – it really was a special day.

We were immediately struck by the aesthetic beauty of this building. Reminiscent (IMO) of many Russian Orthodox churches I have visited in Eastern Europe.
It provided a beautiful backdrop uniquely different in style to others I have worked in before. I love the wide angled view looking down the aisle.
The few images here give a good feel for the day, a small taster and preview of how they all celebrated. The love, the fun, the tenderness and the emotion.
