Wedding Albums & Artwork
Some photographs deserve to escape the screen
Your gallery is brilliant for reliving the wedding.
But eventually, the photographs that matter most tend to become something else.
The one you keep returning to.
The photograph your parents love.
The expression you didn’t even know we’d seen.
The frame that somehow contains an entire relationship.
Those photographs deserve more than another swipe on a screen.
An album you can pick up.
A print you pass every morning.
A piece on the wall that quietly reminds you:
We did this. These are our people. This happened.
That’s why albums and artwork aren’t an afterthought at Smiling Tiger.
They’re the final part of the story.
Your wedding, in your hands
Hundreds of photographs can tell the story beautifully on screen.
An album asks something slightly different.
What deserves to live together?
The build-up.
The nerves.
The people.
The enormous moments and the tiny ones sitting quietly between them.
Rather than handing you an empty template and asking you to somehow design a book from 700 photographs, we’ll do the first piece of thinking for you.
We’ll create an initial design based around the natural rhythm of the wedding and the images that work together.
Then you take over.
Keep what you love.
Move things around.
Swap photographs.
Give something more space.
Take something out.
It’s your album. We simply give you somewhere good to start.
Not every important photograph is the obvious one
By the time you’ve lived with your gallery for a while, favourites begin to emerge.
Sometimes they’re exactly the photographs you expected.
Sometimes they’re not.
A parent watching from the edge of the room.
Two people laughing together.
A photograph of somebody you love that becomes more important with time.
That’s one of the reasons we don’t rush the album conversation.
Live with the photographs first.
Come back to them.
Notice which ones keep pulling you in.
Then we’ll start thinking about what deserves a more permanent place in your life.
See it on your wall before it ever gets there
Choosing artwork can be surprisingly difficult.
A 20-inch frame sounds enormous until it’s hanging above a large sofa.
Three smaller photographs can look fantastic together – or completely wrong – depending on the room, the spacing and the images.
So we take the guesswork out of it.
Send us a photograph of the wall you’re considering along with a simple measurement and we can create scaled visual mock-ups of your actual space.
Different photographs.
Different combinations.
Different sizes and frame styles.
You can see what works before ordering anything.
No holding bits of paper against the wall.
No wondering whether you’ve gone too large or too small.
You see it first. Then we make it real.
We'll help with the hard bit
You don’t need to know whether you want a wide mount, narrow mount, oak frame, black frame, three photographs together or one enormous one on its own.
That’s what the design consultation is for.
We can look at the images, the room and the way you live in it, then narrow things down together.
The point isn’t to fill every wall with wedding photographs.
Quite the opposite.
One photograph in exactly the right place can be enough.
Built to be kept
A wedding album shouldn’t feel disposable.
It should feel substantial when you pick it up.
Paper you want to touch.
Printing that respects the photographs.
A cover that still feels right years from now.
The important bit is simpler:
we use professional products made to last.
Because the whole point of printing these photographs is that they’re still around when phones, laptops and gallery platforms have long since changed.
There’s another part of the Smiling Tiger experience we’ve been developing that belongs perfectly here.
After your gallery arrives, we choose one photograph from the wedding that stood out to us.
Not necessarily the hero portrait.
Often something quieter.
A reaction.
A look.
Someone important in the background.
A little piece of the wedding you may not even have noticed.
We make a fine-art print and send it with a handwritten note explaining why we chose it.
Because sometimes the photograph we most want you to have is the one you never thought to choose.
From gallery to something permanent
There’s no pressure to decide everything the moment your photographs arrive.
In fact, we’d rather you didn’t.
Spend some time with them.
Share them.
Come back to them.
Then, once you know which photographs mean something to you, we’ll help you work out what happens next.
Album.
Single framed piece.
A collection for a wall.
Parent albums.
Or nothing at all until the time feels right.
The point isn’t to sell you more stuff.
It’s to make sure the photographs that deserve a life beyond the gallery actually get one.
You lived it once.
The gallery lets you rediscover the wedding.
The film lets you hear it again.
An album or photograph on the wall does something quieter.
It becomes part of everyday life.
Something you walk past.
Something visitors pick up.
Something children eventually ask about.
And, years from now, something that matters for reasons none of us can predict yet.
Some photographs deserve to escape the screen.
