As the couple with the most efficient Dorset wedding planning credentials, I was somewhat surprised to have this engagement photo shoot in mid November. Bearing in mind that we still have over 10 months before their wedding day, we could have chosen a spring like daffodil laden backdrop or a bright sparkling summers day.
Instead of which we went for something completely different – it was the morning after a stormy night, wet met in the village of Sutton Poyntz, near Weymouth and navigated our way through the muddy puddles. Sutton Poyntz still oozes charm and provides a multitude of different rustic backdrops, picturesque alley ways and opportunities to feed the ducks in the beautiful village stream. But alas we had no bread ! Neither of us had bought some stale crusts for the ducks – so improvision was called for. Those lucky ducks were in for a treat, yours truly had a pocket of my dogs gravy bones – so thats what they got ! Improvisation, et voila – Meaty ducks 🙂 Next thing and they will be barking !!!
We had a lovely time with Linus the photo’s are fantastic and my self and my wife to be Joanne Holtom can’t wait for are wedding on 22ed of September 2012.
Jo and are little boy Logan really had a fab morning.
It’s going to be a hard choice to pick 2 photo’s so I think we will have to have more (I’ve got my 2 favs).
Thanks again Linus for all your hard work and roll on next September for the big day
Thanks again
