What does a Dorset wedding photographer get up to in the middle of the week ? Whilst the rest of the country has been suffering from the extreme weather conditions, with road networks being paralysed and shoppers starting to panic buy. Here in Dorset, tucked away on the Jurrasic coast we have been pretty much shielded from the extreme snowfall. But…… Yesterday morning I awoke to find Weymouth covered in a fresh blanket of snow.
It was beautiful and a wonderful photographic opportunity, not to be missed. Its the first time that I have seen snow settle on a beach. I was always told that the salt air prevented such things.
Apparently the last time it had snowed in Weymouth like this was around 20 years ago. So with thoughts of nostalgia – I naturally found myself going retro and Black & White. Some are snaps others are shapes – Hope you like !!!

It was cold. We only had the snow for 2 days which was nice and a source of entertainment, not like the rest of the country. Just freezing now with the wind chill factor certainly kicking in down here on the coast !!
Brrrr – looks cold. Lovely captures.
